An excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join an established engineering business. In this role, you will produce high-quality 2D and 3D design work using Solid Works, create manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials, and support the full lifecycle of engineered products. This position is ideal for someone with a background in steel fabrication and a passion for precise, innovative design.

• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, including steel fabrications and assemblies, using Solid Works.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials within the company ERP system.
• Ensure all drawings and design documentation are accurate, consistent, and up to date with current revisions.
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and sales teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Adhere to company procedures, quality standards, and Health & Safety regulations.

• Creative, innovative and able to problem-solve.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work flexibly and reliably.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Solid Works and AutoCAD.
