This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced support professional who is ready to take the next step into a Support Manager role, based in . The position will be a split role
, combining responsibilities as both a Support Manager and a Support Worker
, offering a unique chance to stay hands‑on while developing leadership skills. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high‑quality care and eager to grow within a developing and expanding service. You’ll bring strong communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills, along with a proactive and supportive approach to working with others. While you may not have led a team before, you’ll have the confidence, initiative, and drive to step into a leadership role and we’ll support you to build on your experience and grow your career.
The Candidate
- Previous management experience in adult care
- Able to work alongside other Support Managers and Operations Managers
- Competent with IT
- At least 2 years of experience in adult care
- Able to manage staff effectively including staff issues in line with policy and procedures
- Experience of delivering high quality, personalised support within the Health and Social Care sector and the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to deliver excellent services
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to support customers and their needs
- Understanding of the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018 and GDPR and appreciation of confidentiality
