We are delighted to be working with a well‑established local legal practice that prides itself on delivering exceptional client care and professional services. They are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their friendly and dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional who values quality service and enjoys building strong client relationships.

• 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays - number of days increases with length of service
• Monday to Friday, 8.45am‑5pm with 45 minute lunch
• Free parking

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing your own varied caseload of Private Client matters
• Providing high‑quality, professional advice on Probate and Estate Administration, Inheritance Planning, and Trusts
• Communicating effectively with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and other legal professionals
• Demonstrating compassion and sensitivity when working with clients, including attending home visits as required
• Contributing to networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm’s reputation and generate new business
• Working from either of the firm’s two offices when needed
• Striving to achieve strong billing performance within the team

Required

Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor with proven experience in Private Client matters
• Strong knowledge of probate, estate administration, inheritance planning, and trusts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client‑focused approach
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively
• Professional, compassionate, and discreet when dealing with sensitive situations
• Willingness to travel for home visits and work flexibly across local office locations
• A proactive attitude towards business development and networking
