HGV Mechanic – Tippers & Sweepers £20–£26 per hour + Overtime

Contract Type: Full Time & Immediate Start

Location: Kettering

We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a stable, growing business working on tippers and sweepers. This is a workshop-based role with consistent work, overtime available, and no call-out rota.

• £20–£26 per hour depending on experience

• Shift 1: 05:30 – 15:00 (30-minute break)
• Shift 2: 08:30 – 18:00
• Alternate Saturdays

• Servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs
• Working on tippers and sweepers
• Fault-finding and diagnostics
• MOT preparation and defect rectification
• Road testing vehicles and completing reports
• Working to high safety and quality standards

• 3+ years HGV mechanic experience
• Experience with tippers or sweepers (both ideal, not essential)
• Confident with diagnostics and repairs
• Experience supporting MOT preparation
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Main dealer background and sweeper experience welcome but not essential – training provided where needed.
