Overview

Our client is looking for a procurement professional to lead and shape procurement activity for Social Care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong public sector procurement knowledge to influence strategy, deliver value, and ensure compliance with legislation and best practice within Social Care.

• Lead and shape procurement activity for Social Care.
• Influence strategy and deliver value.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
• Manage complex procurement projects, prepare tenders, negotiate contracts, and apply commercial acumen.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Drive best practice, shape policy, and support major procurement initiatives.

• Strong public sector procurement knowledge.
• Proven experience managing complex procurement projects, preparing tenders, negotiating contracts.
• Detailed understanding of public procurement regulations.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience stepping up from a Senior Buyer or Senior Procurement Officer, or moving across from a Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager role in another public procurement regulated environment.

Our client offers flexible hybrid working, with the team coming together in the office once a week. Additional office time may be required on an ad‑hoc basis depending on business needs.
