Senior HCIS Estimation & Presales Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Estimation & Presales Engineer to lead technical and commercial proposal development for security, ELV, and communication system projects. The role requires strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and experience working with HCIS, Aramco, SEC, and Royal Commission standards.

Candidates with power-plant / industrial facility project experience will be given priority consideration.

• Review tender documents, define scope, and develop bid strategies.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing models.
• Coordinate with vendors and validate quotations.
• Lead preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Ensure compliance with HCIS, Aramco, SEC, and RC requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Procurement for optimized solutions.
• Support technical clarifications and client discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers in estimation and proposal development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in estimation, tendering, or presales for ELV/security/communication projects.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control, IDS/PIDS, SCS, and PA systems.
• Strong understanding of HCIS and major client standards (Aramco, SEC, RC).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP/CRM/tender management tools is an advantage.
• Power plant or industrial sector project experience is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of HCIS Security Directives, Critical Infrastructure requirements, and compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with major security and ELV brands (e.g., Axis, Genetec, Lenel, Bosch, CIAS, Cisco).
• Ability to design and review system architectures for CCTV, Access Control, IDS/PIDS, PA, and SCS networks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop accurate costing models and evaluate technical alternatives.
• Excellent communication skills for client presentations, technical discussions, and proposal writing.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously with tight deadlines.
• Proactive mindset, strong ownership, and willingness to contribute to process improvement in a growing organization.
• Leadership skills to mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Prior experience working with EPC contractors or major consultants in the KSA market is a plus.
