Senior Legal Counsel

We are partnering with a leading organisation in Saudi Arabia that is delivering large scale real estate, mixed use development, and infrastructure programmes. The successful candidate will take on a senior advisory role with influence across project development, construction, land strategy, acquisitions, and high value commercial negotiations.

You will lead and support a wide range of strategic legal work, including:

Real Estate Development and Transactions

• Drafting and negotiating development, land, leasing, licensing, and property management agreements.
• Managing due diligence for acquisitions, land development, and investment deals.
• Ensuring compliance with local planning, zoning, and regulatory frameworks.

Construction and Infrastructure

• Preparing and negotiating high value construction and consultancy agreements.
• Supporting project delivery through contract administration, notices, variations, claims, and EOT matters.
• Advising on strategic dispute avoidance and resolution.

Strategic Commercial Advisory

• Ensuring contract governance and alignment with corporate policies.
• Managing external counsel and engineering consultancies.
• Working closely with senior leadership teams, project directors, and government authorities.

We are seeking a senior lawyer with:

• 15 years plus of post qualification experience in real estate, construction, or development law.
• Strong experience managing large scale development or infrastructure projects in the Middle East, ideally Saudi Arabia.
• A solutions driven, commercially minded approach to risk and negotiation.
• The confidence to work with executive leadership, government entities, and major commercial partners.
• Fluency in English. Arabic is an advantage but not essential.
