Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, waffles, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
- Collaborate with other pastry chefs to improve the preparation of dishes, and assist them in their daily responsibilities.
- Examine the quality of culinary equipment utilized in daily activities and their impact on the preparation of bakery items.
- Frequently monitor the ingredients stock to detect requirements and place orders ensuring the expenses are within the company budget.
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry‑making, baking or relevant field.
- Well‑versed in food sanitation principles, preparation standards and associated regulations needed for proper cooking or baking.
- A passion for achieving finesse in all dishes.
- Proven experience in handling food sanitation in the kitchen and ensuring that all bakery items are prepared according to standard regulations.
