My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures and supplies a range of bespoke products. As a Mechanical Fitter, your role will focus on working to engineering drawings, assembling and repairing machinery.

Responsibilities:

Working to engineering drawings

Assembling, adjusting and repairing machinery

Using bench hand tools

Wiring electrical components

Assist with quality checking the produced machinery

Fault finding and testing equipment

Experience:

Previous experience working in a Mechanical Fitter or Fabricator position is essential

Experienced working to engineering drawings

Must have experience using bench hand tools and production machinery

Must have a good attention to detail

Excellent communication skills are essential

Must be a team player

Based in Kidderminster, this Mechanical Fitter opportunity is offering a competitive salary and is commutable from Bewdley, Bridgnorth, Droitwich, Worcester and Stourport.
