Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic person to join the E&B Systems Team. This is a permanent role within our development team.

The role offers the opportunity to experience a wide variety of work and develop widely transferable skills. It focuses on the support and delivery of technical digital solutions to address business problems and support major digital transformation. You will help build, support and develop solutions that enhance our regulatory work and support staff in their front‑line work.

• Manage yourself and lead on technical development areas and solutions.
• Work effectively in dispersed project groups.
• Provide regulatory services and technical solutions, supporting how these services aid the Environment Agency.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand their needs and deliver innovative solutions.
• Develop strong partnerships with staff, conveying technical understanding to non‑technical clients.

• Experience in digital product management or as an experienced environment practitioner.
• Proficiency with tools such as Power Platform, SharePoint, DCP (Document Core Pack), Canvas Apps, Microsoft Access and application configuration.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to think innovatively and develop solutions that meet business problems.
