Pertemps Kidderminster are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in the local area. This is a Temporary - Permanent position and a great opportunity to join a friendly, hard-working team. The successful candidate will be a reliable, trustworthy individual who is keen to learn. Please note a Bendi Forklift is desirable.

The Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Accurately pick customer orders using printed pick sheets

• Manage and prioritise workload efficiently while remaining organised

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy

• Learn and understand the warehouse layout to ensure orders are picked in a timely manner and stock levels are monitored accurately

• Assist with unloading deliveries and splitting pallets into the correct storage locations

• Ensure orders for the same customer are consolidated and loaded onto the same pallet for delivery

The Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative required

• Familiar with warehouse operations and procedures

• Ability to operate a Forklift desirable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing tasks

• This role can be physically demanding

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

• Good communication skills both in the Warehouse and during deliveries
