The world's largest helicopter manufacturer and the UK's leading civil helicopter hub at Oxford Airport is looking for a talented B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join their dynamic team.

As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for the certification of maintenance and repairs on a variety of craft, including the popular H125, H135, H145 and the new H160.

• Accomplishment of maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors.
• Part 66 Licence in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft) required; ability to work as a team leader and maintain high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
• Working knowledge of UK CAA regulations, Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements essential.
• Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems; replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove serviceability.
• Supervision of maintenance fitters and certification of their work.
• Ability to engage with the customer and positively represent the company.

• Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems and specialised test equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Flexible to the requirements of the company and needs of the customer.

• Part 66 B1.3 Licence (UKCAA).
• Currency on type: EC135 / BK117 C-2 / BK117 D-2 / BK117 D-3 type rated.
• Type training on specific types will be given to a suitable candidate.

Due to the nature of this position, you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance. Applicants must meet any / all requirements of ITAR and Export Compliance Regulations plus travel within the UK or abroad to support related business requirements.
