THE EMPLOYER IS: ADVOCACY VSVAdvocacy VSV is a specialist charity providing trauma-informed, confidential support to victims of sexual violence. As we evolve our sustainability strategy, we are developing a social enterprise trading arm to generate mission-aligned income, expand our reach, and strengthen long-term impact. The Social Enterprise Coordinator will play a key role in shaping, launching, and managing this new area of work.
The Social Enterprise Coordinator will lead the development, coordination, and delivery of our new social enterprise activities. This role ensures our trading arm operates commercially, ethically, and in alignment with our values and safeguarding commitments. The coordinator will support product/service development, marketing, partnership building, and operational management, helping to diversify income and enhance our social impact.

- Organisational change and capacity building.
- Advocacy VSVS social enterprise coordinator will have to have empathy of victims, emotional intelligence and a collaborative approach.
- Experience in project coordination, business development, or social enterprise/community enterprise.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and time-management skills.
- Experience in marketing, communications, or customer-facing roles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to the values of inclusivity, empowerment, and trauma-informed practice.
- Understanding of the sensitive nature of supporting victims/survivors of sexual violence (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across sectors.
- Hold a driving license and have access to a car.
- Experience of working within a charity, community organisation.
- Knowledge of business planning, financial management, or entrepreneurship.
- Experience developing products/services, especially in a mission-aligned context.
- Understanding of monitoring and evaluation methods, including impact measurement.
- Experience coordinating volunteers or small teams.
