Role Overview

We are seeking a hands on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who is interested in developing into a support/leadership role - working alongside and overseeing a small team of engineers.

This role offers a 70/30 split between engineering work and team/department support and includes involvement in key maintenance and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and coordination for the engineering team.
• Contribute to maintenance planning and departmental decision making.
• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective engineering solutions.
• Lead mechanical repairs, inspections, overhauls, and equipment changeovers.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Time-served Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to support and guide others.
