Overview
Allied Health Professions Senior Manager and Professional Lead. Crosshouse and Ayr sites, with responsibilities across Acute Services.
What You Will DoThe post holder is responsible and accountable for the delivery of AHP Services – Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy – across Acute Services. You will provide operational management, strategic and professional leadership, governance and development for all members of this AHP workforce. As a senior member of the pan Ayrshire Allied Health Professions Leadership team, you will also lead on AHP change initiatives and hold a number of AHP responsibilities within your portfolio.

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience- You must have relevant AHP professional qualification and active registration with HCPC.
- You will be educated to Masters Degree level, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Evidence of relevant continuous professional development is also essential.
- You will bring evidence of senior service management/leadership roles and developing innovative and creative solutions to achieve organisational objectives.
- You will demonstrate in depth understanding of clinical governance principles and the development of systems and frameworks to establish clear accountability.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
