Position:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Charge Nurse within Community Nursing based within Kilmarnock and surrounding areas of East Ayrshire.
What you will do:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered general nurse with current NMC registration to join our community nursing team. You will hold or be working towards qualifications in PG Cert Integrated Community Nursing or be willing to undertake these. You will be based within a District Nursing team within Kilmarnock and surrounding areas although a requirement of the post holder will be a willingness to travel across the locality when required to meet the needs of the service.
You will work in close partnership with colleagues across East Ayrshire ensuring an integrated approach to the delivery of compassionate care. You will also be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of service.
- Essential, RGN educated to degree level. You should have a District Nurse post graduate or equivalent SPQ qualification or be willing to undertake relevant post graduate district nursing education.
- Good communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.
- Highly developed skills in team working and inter-personal skills.
- Knowledge of Information Management and Technology systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of Data Protection and Caldicott, GDPR procedures.
- Knowledge of clinical, corporate and staff governance issues, policies, procedures and systems.
37 per week
UK Driving Licence / Car Ownership:UK Car licence is essential to this role.
