Job Overview

Lead the Organisational Development Team within the People & Culture Service through the management and delivery of planned OD interventions and provide specialist OD management support that contributes to a consistent and high quality service provision to Council Services in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the People & Culture Service Plan and the Community Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver planned OD interventions within the People & Culture Service.
  • Provide specialist OD management support to Council Services.
  • Promote, deliver and integrate key objectives identified in the People & Culture Service Plan and the Community Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with national guidance on pre‑employment checks and reference requirements.
  • Maintain a safe sender list for My Job Scotland  related e‑mails.
  • Coordinate administrative duties at the Opera House, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in organisational development or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of OD interventions and delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a mobile work style (20‑49 % on site, remainder at home or other locations).
  • Basic Disclosure Scotland clearance required upon offer of employment.
Employment Details
  • Full‑time permanent, 35 hours per week (normal working hours 9 am‑5 pm Monday‑Thursday, 9 am‑4 pm Friday).
  • Salary £49,759 – £54,418 per annum.
  • Mobile work style: 1‑2.5 days per week at the administrative base or another agreed office location.
  • Location:

    Opera House, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.
