CNC Operator

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client, a multi‑national supplier of engineering solutions to the energy industry. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for machining components to the highest standards, ensuring customer requirements and quality are consistently met.

• Produce components to the correct standards within estimated production times from engineering drawings, adhering to company quality procedures.
• Machine various high‑grade materials, such as Inconel 718.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications, ensuring components meet correct standards.
• Two‑week rotation of day/night shift:
  Day shifts Mon‑Thu 7:30‑16:30, Fri 7:30‑12:30;
  Night shifts Mon 22:00‑07:30, Tue‑Thu 21:00‑07:30.

• Minimum 3 years post‑apprenticeship CNC machining experience with medium to heavy components.
• Competent in setting and programming (preferably Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres).
• Experience operating CNC Horizontal, Vertical Borers, Machining Centres, or Mills.
• Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capabilities, including tool feeds and speeds.
