Staff Nurse – HMP Kilmarnock
We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Adult Nurse to join the multidisciplinary team within the Health Centre in HMP Kilmarnock.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, effective, person‑centred care to a vulnerable patient group.
- Support patients with the management of long‑term conditions, including palliative care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and triage minor illnesses and injuries.
- Provide health promotion advice and administer medication.
- Work collaboratively with General Practitioners, Mental Health and Addiction Service professionals.
- Registered Adult Nurse qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Minimum degree level education or demonstrable relevant clinical experience.
37 hours per week
