Registered Veterinary Nurse – Valley Vets (Kilmarnock, Scotland)

Location: Valley Vets (Kilmarnock, Scotland)

Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience + benefits

Hours: Open to full time or part time

Contract: Permanent

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of patients
• Assist our Vets during surgical and medical procedures
• Monitor and support the recovery of patients post-surgery
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Mentor and support your peers
• Contribute to the efficient running of the practice, including inventory management and client communication
• Support and run nursing clinics

• Must be RCVS registered or equivalent
• A passion for animal care and welfare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills

Valley Veterinary Group are a two-site practice 20 minutes south of Glasgow, and are looking for a RVN to join our friendly, enthusiastic team! We are a forward-thinking and busy practice who pride ourselves in delivering the highest level of veterinary care for our loyal clients and their pets. We have a purpose-built RCVS accredited main surgery, which is extremely well-equipped to allow case workups to a high standard and an SVN training practice.

There is 20 of us here: 6 Vets, 5 RVNs and our amazing support staff.
