Janitorial Attendant

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of Janitor. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player. • Clean all areas of the resort, including cafeteria, restaurant, kitchen, administrative offices, washrooms, ticket offices, Pan Abode, and other common areas
• Ensure all areas are locked when cleaning is completed
• Clean floors, windows and washrooms
• Remove garbage from all buildings
• Assist with checking inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; communicate needs to the Manager
• Record hours worked on time sheet and scan in and out for each shift
• Follow the shift schedule
• Adhere to RCR policies, procedures and Safety Management Program
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

• Dependable, self motivated, and able to work with little or no supervision
• Previous janitorial experience an asset
• Knowledge and experience handling cleaning chemicals safely
• Capable of performing minor repairs as needed
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and lifting
• Able to follow instructions provided via manuals, memos, or verbal guidance

• Work flexible shifts with varying hours
• Availability for evenings, weekends and and holidays is required

• Competitive wage: $18.04 – $19.38 as per Collective Agreement
