Essential Functions/Responsibilities- Assist in project safety orientation, job site inspections, and accident/injury reports.
- Assist with the development, review, and implementation of site specific safety plans, safe work practices and safe work procedures.
- Help the project teams organize and conduct training programs including but not limited to: WHMIS 2015, Working at Heights, Personal Protective Equipment, and CPR/First Aid.
- Monitor employees and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance to safety procedures and elevate issues to resolution through the HSE Coordinator and Ellis Don team on site.
- Proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations and take necessary measures to correct them.
- You must be enrolled in a College or University Co-op or Internship.
- You are currently studying in the field of Engineering.
