Working as a Security Guard you will be responsible for completing investigations and incident reports. You will be expected to perform consistent patrols and interact with the public to provide good customer service and keep the Clients and visitors safe.

Valid Ontario Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit TestProof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Tuberculosis are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR-V immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.Steps to get your immunization records:Immunization Form:
Immunization-Record-Ontario-Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)Minimum 3 years security experience required, or 1 year of demonstrated Security Supervision experienceDemonstrates superior customer service skills and able to work independentlyFluency in English (verbal/written) required. French is considered an assetAbility to perform physically demanding tasks (extensive patrolling, restraints, etc.)6+ months previous security experience is preferredPrevious healthcare/healthcare security experience is considered an assetMust be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
Please be aware:
The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availabilityAuthorized to legally work in CanadaCertification Requirements (All)
First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
