We’ve opened a role in our Ottawa or London offices for a talented, entrepreneurial Electrical Technologist to work alongside exceptional people in JLR’s Industrial Electrical & Automation group.

• Do you enjoy being part of the broad discipline that is electrical engineering, taking a deep dive into industrial automation & controls, electrical distribution, processes and maintaining strong client relationships?
• Does working with an experienced team to create high-quality custom solutions for clients using innovative technologies and alternate delivery methods excite you?
• Are you a resourceful, clever, and enthusiastic Electrical Technologist or Designer

• Are you a graduate from a recognized technology program that can read drawings, schematics, program with ladder logic and understand electrical codes?

• Applying fundamentals and engineering tools to design basic power distribution, instrumentation and control systems.
• Programming PLC and HMIs from a wide variety of vendors.
• Preparing electrical AutoCAD drawings and other documents for the purposes of construction.
• Assisting engineers with project execution during all project phases.
• Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinating with other engineering disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
• Travelling to client sites and starting up and commissioning equipment
