Accounts & Audit Senior - Glasgow Accountancy recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading firm of chartered accountants who are interested in adding an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accounts & Audit Senior to the team in their Glasgow office. As an Accounts & Audit Senior you will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors.

The role will include the preparation and review of accounts and tax compliance work as well as leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion. You will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development. This distinguished firm boast a fantastic presence across the North-East and they are now looking to add an ambitious individual who is keen to progress their career within one of the regions premier firms.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position. Duties & Responsibilities:

Audits, independent examinations & accounts preparation of statutory financial statements for limited companies, charities, partnerships Business tax computations Consolidated accounts preparation & audit (potentially) Opportunities to expand experience with personal tax if desired Client facing with support from managers & engagement partners Based mainly in Glasgow office, subject to external audit visits to clients premises

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist
