Engineering Sub Agent, Renewable Energy

Location: Scotland

We are working with a leading contractor delivering a range of power and renewable energy projects across Scotland. Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they are looking to appoint an experienced Sub Agent to support project delivery on site.

This role offers the opportunity to work across energy infrastructure projects, including power networks, substations, overhead lines, wind, and renewable-related civils works.

The Role

As Sub Agent, you will support the Site Agent and Project Manager in the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to specification.

Key responsibilities include:

* Assisting with the management of site activities across power or renewables projects

* Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

* Supporting planning and short-term programming of works

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards

* Managing permits, RAMS, and site documentation

* Liaising with engineers, commercial teams, and clients

* Supporting progress reporting and site records

About You

* Previous experience in a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer role

* Background in civils, power, utilities, or renewables

* Experience on projects such as overhead lines, substations, wind farms, cabling, or associated civils

* Strong understanding of site-based health & safety and quality processes

* SMSTS (or working towards) preferred

* Full UK driving licence
