Oracle Tax Consultant

Start Date: ASAP

Location: UK – Fully Remote

Duration: 6 months + extension

Rate: Outside IR35

• Configure and support Oracle Cloud Tax, including tax regimes, rules, rates, and tax box allocation.
• Create and document tax box allocation instructions, ensuring correct mapping for VAT reporting and compliance.
• Design and implement processes for supplier setup involving tax, withholding tax, and VAT requirements.
• Support the configuration of nominal-based VAT reclaiming, including rules for reclaim by nominal codes or tax accounts.
• Work with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate tax handling across AP, AR, and purchasing flows.
• Produce functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test scripts.
• Support SIT/UAT cycles, troubleshoot issues, and assist with cutover activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Tax/EBTax configuration.
• Solid understanding of UK/EU VAT and indirect tax legislation.
• Experience with tax box allocations, supplier tax setups, withholding tax, and VAT reclaim processes.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials (AP, AR, GL, Procurement).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; able to work independently in a remote setting.
