Class 1 HGV Driver (Nights) – Are you an HGV Driver looking for a new opportunity? We are recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver (Nights) to join our Liverpool depot for night trunking to our pallet network hubs Monday‑Friday.

• Competitive Salary: £47,500‑£50,000 per annum (≈£885 per week) plus meal allowance and driver score bonus

All Class 1 HGV Drivers (Nights) are responsible for operating their vehicle efficiently for fuel and safety, supervising loading and unloading, ensuring proper strapping and security, and being a company ambassador in all client and public interactions. This is a full‑time, permanent position. Working hours are Monday to Friday, start 17:30/18:30 for an approximate 12‑hour shift.

• Submit vehicle checks daily, noting defects and ensuring safe, legal operation
• Comply with all governing law and in‑house regulations
• Provide clear POD (paper or electronic) for each consignment
• Communicate with the traffic office about any issues or accidents in a professional, constructive manner

You must hold a full UK driving licence with Category C+E (formerly class
1) and a current, valid CPC. Previous experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential; we provide a comprehensive induction for the right candidate. Excellent communication skills, courteous and professional manner, and a commitment to maintaining the vehicle safe, clean, and tidy are required. ADR Licence is desirable.
