Role Summary

Trade Counter Assistant / Driver at Eurocell plc

HOURS: 44 per week, 12 months fixed term – Monday to Friday 7:00‑4:30 p.m.;
Saturdays 8:00‑12:00 p.m. (rota).
BASE: Site based.

SALARY: £27,936 per year,
OTE: up to £31,536 per year.

• Hands‑on support the Branch Manager and Supervisor in day‑to‑day branch operations.
• Drive sales at the trade counter to achieve targets, communicating product knowledge confidently.
• Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
• Pick, load and deliver products via Eurocell's 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
• Plan routes, drive safely and keep the company vehicle clean.
• Support the Branch Manager with timely actions and activities.
• Adhere to Health & Safety, company policies and procedures.
• Ensure excellent customer service and operational standards.
• Maintain branch standards: warehouse and stock management, front‑of‑house cleanliness, and point of sale.

• Passion and energy for customer service and achieving business targets.
• Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach; confident engaging future customers.
• Commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins.
• Strong organisational skills, prioritisation and initiative.
• Comfortable IT user with experience of MS Office and industry software such as SAP.
• Full and valid driving license; FLT licence advantageous.
• Prior branch stock‑take experience a plus.
• Comfortable working in a small team and occasionally alone.
• Experience in similar trade/builder’s merchant/retail or uPVC environment advantageous.
