The shift pattern for this post is: Monday - Friday.
Please note this post is for two permanent full-time 2.0wte trainee ANP under annex 21 or band 7 already qualified ANP position.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our well-established ANP team, supporting General Practitioners in the delivery of urgent and unscheduled care across East Dunbartonshire. This role forms an integral part of the wider multidisciplinary team, contributing to high-quality care for our registered patient population.
As a clinical leader, you will work across GP clusters with the autonomy and authority to assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for patients presenting with complex, multi-dimensional health needs both within clinic settings and during home visits. You will be expected to contribute to service delivery across all four pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, leadership, education, and research.

- Clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning
- Clinical judgement and decision-making
- Anatomy and pathophysiology
- Non-medical prescribing (V300)
- Leadership in care delivery and evaluation
- Practice-based learning or equivalent transferable modules
East Dunbartonshire is proud to offer a supportive and collaborative ANP service within urgent and unscheduled care. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to engage in regular CPD sessions and will be fully supported to address any ongoing training and development needs upon appointment.
