Veterinary Receptionist

We’re seeking a compassionate Veterinary Receptionist, ideally with experience, to provide a high-quality experience to all our clients. You will be confident in the use of computers, telephony, triage, complaint handling and payment handling, able to work collaboratively within a supportive team, and keen to develop professionally.

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week. The shift pattern is negotiable but may involve 4 late shifts up till 7:30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Our recently refurbished practice is conveniently located within walking distance of Kirkintilloch town centre, with excellent bus and train connections from Glasgow city centre. Free on-site parking is available for staff.

The practice features modern, air-conditioned facilities including a spacious reception area, five consulting rooms, two theatres, a prep and recovery area, isolation facilities, digital x-ray, dental suite including dental x-ray, and a dedicated laboratory.

Situated on the scenic banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal, the marina location offers beautiful walking routes along the canal and former railway line—perfect for breaks or after work.

Our knowledgeable team comprises 11 vets, two holding GP certificates in small animal surgery and one holding a certificate in feline medicine with three more currently studying for medicine certificates. The nursing team comprises six experienced RVNs. We also have four dedicated receptionists, an insurance claims administrator, and a Practice Manager supporting the smooth running of the practice.
