Industrial Gearbox Fitter

Position: Industrial Gearbox Fitter (Permanent)
Are you a skilled Mechanical Gearbox Fitter with a passion for precision engineering? Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join our team and work on a wide variety of industrial gearboxes – from 150kg units to colossal 10-tonne giants.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be hands-on with stripping down and rebuilding a range of gearboxes, including:

* Helical

* Worm

* Bevel Helical

* Spur

You’ll work with clients across dynamic sectors like:

* Steelworks

* Oil & Gas

* Distilleries

* Chemical Plants

* Wind Energy

* Water Treatment

* Quarries & Brickworks

...and more.

What We Offer:

* Competitive Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (based on experience)

About You:

* Minimum 4 years of experience in gearbox fitting (essential)

* Skilled in mechanical fitting and industrial gearbox rebuilds

* NVQ3 in Mechanical engineering

* Driving license preferred

Work Schedule:

* 8-hour shifts

* Overtime available

* Weekend availability
