**** Hours are offered on an as and when required basis****£14.94 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
** Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals who can help to provide the meals service on a relief basis to cover for holiday and sickness absence.

Duties include preparation, cooking and service of food, supervision of staff, menu planning, ordering of provisions, ensuring all aspects of service provision complies with food safety and completion of associated records, cash handling and liaising with school staff, parents and pupils.

You must hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent and a food preparation qualification - NVQ level 2, C+G 706/1 + 706/2.You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
