Adecco is currently hiring for a Land Development Project Manager to join a dynamic and collaborative engineering consultancy serving the Kitchener/Waterloo region. This full-time, permanent position offers the chance to lead impactful residential and commercial development projects, working closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results that shape the community.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards while managing client expectations effectively
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and project teams, fostering strong relationships and proactively addressing concerns
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams, managing schedules and deliverables
  • Lead business development initiatives, identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and responding to RFPs
  • Monitor and manage project financials, including billing, payments, and budget adherence
  • Attend client and project meetings and participate in strategic planning discussions
  • Support contract administration tasks and other duties as required
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a project management role within the engineering or development industry
  • Professional designation (P.Eng. preferred)
  • Solid understanding of the subdivision process and municipal development approvals
  • Knowledge of applicable government standards, engineering practices, and regulations
  • Proficiency with MS Office and other relevant software
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities effectively
