Insight Global is hiring a Level 2 Analyst/Programmer with strong expertise in Progress Open Edge 12.8 for one of Canada’s largest independent retailers. This is a critical role on a team currently undergoing a major modernization effort — upgrading from a legacy version of Progress (14 years old) to the latest release. The team is transitioning from a Linux-based environment to Windows, and moving from a character-based interface to a modern graphical user interface using Flutter.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in rewriting and optimizing business logic, enabling API connectivity, and helping deliver a fully bilingual solution ahead of next summer’s deployment.

• 5+ years of programmer/development experience
• Experience with Progress Version 11 or 12
• Proficiency in Windows environment
