The Team
The Cash App Trust organization exists to build trust and expand access in Cash App’s Ecosystem. We are only successful as a business if our customers feel secure and trust us with their money, and so we take it as a duty to be worthy of that trust. In line with Cash App and Block’s mission of Economic Empowerment, we want to expand access to the banking system so that people who are normally locked out have access to powerful wealth building tools.

The Job
As part of the Mobile engineering team for Cash Trust Client, you'll provide Cash App customers reliable, easy, and secure access to their accounts. You'll build, own, and improve the experiences and platforms primarily around Access, and will flex into other areas of Trust as needed. Access owns login, signup, account recovery, account security and accounts overall. More broadly, Trust owns identity verification, limits, eligibility safeguards, transfers and scam protection among other areas.

These experiences and platforms are pivotal to Cash App customers as we strive towards economic empowerment.

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $163,600 - USD $245,400
Zone B: USD $155,400 - USD $233,200
Zone C: USD $147,300 - USD $220,900
Zone D: USD $139,000 - USD $208,600
