As an Account Executive Expert for Consumer Products & Retail, you will take ownership of one of SAP’s most strategic enterprise customers in the region — a global leader in its industry. Your mission is to deepen executive relationships, lead transformative conversations, and deliver measurable business value through SAP’s world‑class Cloud portfolio.

This is a role for a seasoned sales professional who thrives on complexity, influence, and creating lasting customer success.

Lead with Vision and Purpose
  • Serve as the primary executive contact for one of SAP’s most significant Consumer Products & Retail clients.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy that aligns the customer’s business objectives with SAP’s innovation roadmap.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C‑suite leaders, driving digital transformation discussions that go beyond technology — focused on growth, efficiency, and sustainability.
Drive Growth and Deliver Results
  • Own the end‑to‑end sales process: identify opportunities, shape demand, build executive consensus, and close transformative deals.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue, cloud, and software targets by leading complex, multi‑stakeholder engagements.
  • Collaborate across SAP’s ecosystem — industry experts, solution advisors, partners, and services — to deliver tangible value and accelerate customer outcomes.
Inspire Collaboration and Sales Excellence
  • Lead and orchestrate a high‑performing virtual account team to drive strategic execution and flawless customer experience.
  • Champion SAP’s value‑based selling approach — focusing on business outcomes and measurable ROI.
  • Represent SAP at executive briefings and industry events, positioning the company as a long‑term strategic partner.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales, ideally within Cloud/SaaS and digital transformation environments.
  • A strong track record of leading large, complex accounts and managing C‑suite relationships.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the Consumer Products & Retail industry and its evolving business models.
  • Exceptional negotiation and strategic account management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead virtual, cross‑functional teams and coordinate global resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English are essential; knowledge of Swiss German is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, technology, or a related field.
