Factory Medical Officer

Role & responsibilities  :
Require carrying all Statutory Pre-Employment Medical Check up.
Perform periodic health checkups based on occupational risks.
Provide prompt medical care in case of accidents, injuries, or medical emergencies at the workplace.
Regular checkup of employees working in Hazardous areas.
Maintain health surveillance programs for workers exposed to hazardous substances.
Train workers in basic first aid and emergency response.
Responsible for Implementation of Medical Policy Reimbursement.
Maintain and supervise first aid facilities and ambulance services.
Conducting Awareness Campaigns on Health, First Aid etc.
Responsible for Liaison with local Hospitals and Doctors and ESI Hospitals.
Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Factories Rules, and other occupational health regulations.
Collaborate with the Safety/HSE department to conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.

Qualifications &

Experience:

Medical degree and valid medical licenses from Govt Indian Institute.
Over 8-10 years of hands-on experience as a medical practitioner.
MBBS degree is mandatory ; MD is desirable, AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health)
Experience in occupational health or industrial medicine.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle medical emergencies.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in maintaining medical records.
