A Service Now ITAM Specialist manages the full lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets (SAM/HAM) on the Now Platform to optimize costs, ensure compliance, and streamline workflows. Key duties include managing asset inventory, configuring HAM/SAM modules, performing license optimization, and integrating with discovery tools (SCCM/JAMF) to maintain CMDB accuracy.
Required
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
3-8 years in IT Asset Management, with, suggests, a focus on Service Now implementations.
Technical
Skills:
Deep understanding of Service Now HAM/SAM, Service Now Discovery, CMDB, JavaScript, and APIs, according to and
Certifications:
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - HAM or SAM is highly preferred.
Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL framework and hardware/software lifecycle management.
