A well-established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Lytham St Annes is seeking an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant—whether ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE—who enjoys a varied workload across both accounts and audit within a friendly, forward-thinking practice.

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion across a diverse client portfolio
• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Preparing corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
• Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members (note: no trainees in this role)
• Supporting partners with client meetings, advisory work, and business development
• Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, audit standards, and firm policies

• ACA / ACCA qualified, or QBE with strong experience in both accounts and audit within practice
• Confident leading audits independently and liaising with clients both on-site and remotely
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
• Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills
• Proficient in cloud-based software packages (Xero, Quick Books, Sage, etc.)
• A team player who values accuracy, professionalism, and high-quality client service
