Accounts and Payroll Assistant

Due to continued growth we are looking for a part-time Accounts & Payroll Assistants to join our busy finance team based in a new Leigh office.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in accounts and payroll who are looking for flexible working hours.

Monday to Friday

9:00 - 13:00 or 13:00 - 17:00

Starting from 12.21 p/h

• Assisting with weekly and monthly payroll processing
• Processing timesheets, expenses and invoices
• Maintaining accurate financial payroll records
• Annual holiday calculations
• Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions
• Handling payroll and accounts queries from candidates and clients
• General finance and administrative support as required
• Management of external account ledgers
• Credit control

• Previous experience in accounts and/or payroll role
• Good understanding of payroll processes and basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll software Sage
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Part-time hours: 20 hours per week (flexible working pattern available)
