This UK Sales Manager role focuses on growing a specialist food service equipment range across the UK and Ireland through distributors, dealers, and end-user relationships. Key tasks include developing new business, expanding the distributor base, supporting customer visits with internal teams, and creating opportunities in sectors including public sector. The role also involves market insight, attending industry events, and contributing to aftersales improvements.

It suits someone with proven food service equipment sales experience and strong relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business through distributor and dealer networks
  • Build and maintain senior-level and field-level relationships
  • Generate end-user opportunities, including public sector growth
  • Identify and onboard new distributors
  • Conduct joint customer visits with internal commercial teams
  • Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation and campaigns
  • Manage key customer accounts and support issue resolution
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events
  • Provide insights on customer needs, competitors, and market conditions
  • Train and support internal teams and external partners
  • Manage warranty / aftersales data and contribute to process improvement
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of the food service equipment industry
  • Basic technical understanding of equipment, especially combi-ovens
  • Proven success in a similar sales or channel-focused role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Competence with Microsoft Office applications
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
