Consultant in Respiratory Medicine

We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant Physician with an interest in Respiratory Medicine on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Medicine department.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, friendly, and caring team committed to providing excellent care with compassion. The Trust supports professional development and service enhancement in line with its strategic goals.

You will be part of a team of 11 chest consultants and extensive multidisciplinary teams, contributing to:

• 7-day inpatient care
• Pathway design and implementation of a new Respiratory Assessment Unit and Acute Respiratory services
• Specialist Respiratory Care including TB, Lung Cancer, Sleep, Ventilation, COPD, Pleural Disease, ILD, Specialist Asthma, and Cystic Fibrosis
• Tertiary Centre for NIV, Complex Asthma, and ILD
• General Thoracic clinics
• Interventional pulmonology procedures on both sites

The appointee will:

- Full-time or part-time considered

- 10 Programmed Activities (P.A's)

- Prestigious NHS Trust with a supportive team

- GMC Registration is required

- Excellent local schools available
