Compensation: £90,000 – 10.5% bonus. £4,200 car allowance. Private health care.

Operational Technology (OT) Architecture needed to work on the Security Architecture for this North West based Enterprise-level Critical National Infrastructure organisation. OT in this role could be Manufacturing systems, Telecoms Networks, SCADA Engineering, IOT, IIOT, Smart metering, telemetry, utilities, baggage handling systems, and any other types of operational security.

As the OT Security Architect you set direction and provide architecture leadership working with operational technology. The primary purpose is to develop enterprise security architecture and supporting policies, guidance in support of the information and cyber‑physical security strategy, ensuring this CNI organisation is resilient against security threats.

As the Enterprise Security Architect, you will be key to establishing secure‑by‑design principles for OT, creating benchmarks for other architects, advising the business and technology on the state of security architecture, assuring designs from third parties, being part of the architecture review board, and working on high‑level designs.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Securing enterprise IT environments, cloud security, and network security.
  • Securing Operational Technology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, providing security direction and guidance.
  • Strong documentation skills for security designs, policies, and procedures.
  • Cybersecurity tooling – familiarity with security tools and technologies.
  • Azure Cloud or other cloud technology.

Any experience in working in Telecoms, CNI, or regulated environments with knowledge of operational technology or IOT/IIOT would be helpful in this role.
