Maintenance Engineer

Position: Maintenance Engineer - Days only (Permanent)
Location: West Lancashire

We're seeking Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a growing engineering team. If you have strong electrical or mechanical skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, but may be not on full shifts this role could be a great fit for you and offers real career progression opportunity.

Hours:

Total 42 hours across 3.5 days per week
3 x 12 hour Day shift (06:00 – 18:00) aligned with site engineering shutdowns + additional 6 hours alternating Wednesday and Friday each week 07:00 – 13:00.
Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:

Deliver hands-on engineering support to keep production running smoothly
Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
Keep maintenance records up to date using our CMMS system
Work closely with production to meet daily performance goals
Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Quals / Experience required of Maintenance Engineer:

Time-served/apprenticeship-trained engineer
Relevant engineering qualifications (C&G/NVQ Level 3 or ONC/HNC preferred)
Strong mechanical or electrical skillset
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Positive, proactive mindset and a team player
