Mediplacements are looking to recruit an experienced Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist to join a dedicated team at an NHS hospital located in Manchester. This is a full‑time position with pay ranging from GBP
27 – GBP
32 per hour. The contract is ongoing and our client are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

As a Respiratory Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing full lung function tests and providing CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) therapy to patients. The role also involves working closely with the medical team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

• RCCP (Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists) registered or equivalent
• Teaching and mentoring junior staff and students
• Degree in Respiratory Clinical Physiology
• Experience of managing own time and workload effectively
• Previous experience of working at Band 6 level (1 year minimum)
• Knowledge of Vyaire or any other system for calibration, lung function tests and interpretation
• Respiratory physiology knowledge
• Knowledge of HIVE
• Relevant Qualification
