Then you could be our new Head of Digital Product Line Deco & P&C.

Our Decorative (Deco) segment includes trusted and well‑loved brands such as Crown Paints, Farrow & Ball, Wattyl and Hempel. We are looking for a visionary leader to drive digital transformation across both our Decorative portfolio and People & Culture (P&C) processes.

You will define and execute a digital vision, developing and scaling products that challenge industry norms and deliver real customer value.

Working closely with colleagues across leadership, operations, IT and external partners, you’ll make sure our digital solutions deliver clear results and support Hempel’s future growth.

The role reports to the Vice President Digital Product & Service Delivery based in Denmark. You’ll be located in the UK working from our office in Darwen with occasional travel as part of the role.

• Set the digital vision & strategy; define and execute a roadmap for Deco & P&C that drives growth and delivers business value.
• Own the digital portfolio; lead the full lifecycle of products ensuring they evolve with customer needs, market trends and tech advancements.
• Drive innovation & impact; introduce AI‑ and data‑driven solutions, govern initiatives through structured processes and ensure measurable outcomes.
• Lead teams & partnerships; inspire a global team and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to scale digital excellence across the business.

• Solid IT technical background with at least 10‑15 years of managerial experience in an IT/digital environment.
• Understanding of business needs and the ability to meet them with end‑to‑end technical solutions.
• Experience in process excellence.
• Strategic and visionary thinker with a strong sense of accountability and focus on long‑term value.
• Innovative and tech‑savvy with a data‑driven mindset and hands‑on approach to execution.
• Comfortable navigating complexity and leading transformation in fast‑paced environments.
• Clear communicator with high influence, structured thinking and the ability to lead cross‑functional work.
