Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for 2 skilled Injection Moulding Technicians to join their team to support continued business growth.

Remit:

* This position will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Setter / Technician who is looking to further their career within the industry

* This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mould Setter with good injection moulding machinery and processing knowledge to join a forward-thinking company offering further training and development opportunities

* Candidates MUST HAVE several years’ experience within setting, conditioning and process optimisation of injection moulding machines and experience with a range of materials.

Role:

* In the role of Injection Moulding Technician, you will be required to perform tool changes and support with tool change process improvements

* As Injection Moulding Technician you will be required to ensure that optimum cycle times are achieved and maintained

* Identify the implementation of process improvements within the factory

* Identify and solve processing problems

* Ensure all injection moulding equipment is operating efficiently

* Liaise with the works engineering department for all tool repairs and maintenance

* Ensure the correct Health & Safety and housekeeping levels are maintained

* Support the Technical Manager in maintaining good disciplines of housekeeping, scrap reduction and production efficiencies

Experience Requirements:

* Previous experience within injection moulding manufacturing is ESSENTIAL

* Experience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environment

* Experience with Engel, Krauss Maffei or Toshiba injection moulding machines an advantage

* Basic level of Numeracy and Literacy is required

* Good communication skills

* Strong attention to detail
