Production Manager - Food

This highly regard and well-respected food manufacture has made a major financial investment its state-of-the-art production facility. So if you’re driven by performance, flow and output and you know that great production doesn’t happen by accident, this role gives you full ownership of how a site plans, delivers and improves its daily operation. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems quickly and keep production moving efficiently, safely and to standard.

What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Production Manager

* Planning and allocating daily resources to meet customer demand and operational targets

* Monitoring performance against plan and using data to identify short-term improvements

* Ensuring processes remain compliant with quality, yield, safety and legislative standards

* Identifying and resolving non-conformances to minimise downtime and protect output

* Working closely with site management to maintain HACCP, quality systems and production standards

* Driving continuous improvement across production processes, KPIs and team capability

What you’ll bring to the table as a Production Manager

* Previous experience in Food Manufacturing

* Previous experience managing production operations within a structured manufacturing environment

* Strong understanding of production planning, performance reporting and KPI management

* Experience working within quality systems, compliance frameworks and HACCP environments

* Previous responsibility for managing and developing supervisors and team leaders

* Experience using data capture systems to track performance and drive operational improvements
