What’s the job?

You’ll be known as a Product Consultant at Arnold Clark, but your role will be heavily sales focused. This isn’t just a typical sales job. We’re looking for someone who can be themselves, deliver excellent customer service and enjoy their work.

As an Arnold Clark Product Consultant, you’ll be with our customers every step of the way—from the moment they walk through the door through to offering them a great aftersales experience. The role is about helping customers find the right car based on their needs and building strong, positive relationships through every step of the process.

On an average day, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Helping customers find the right car based on their needs
  • Delivering outstanding, 5-star service for every customer
  • Building and maintaining lasting, sincere relationships with customers through every step of the sales process
  • Selling the right sales package for the customer (finance to servicing) with integrity and professionalism
  • Co-ordinating the order and delivery of vehicles and keeping everything running smoothly
  • Meeting monthly sales expectations and customer experience standards
  • Working as part of a dynamic team to meet deadlines and keep promises
  • Staying in touch with customers to offer a great aftersales experience
What you’ll need – skills and qualities
  • Fantastic communication, organisation and people skills
  • Energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to stay organised and remember details to deliver on promises
  • A desire for a lasting, fulfilling career
  • A full driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year

  • £25,500 with no company car or £23,500 with company car
  • On target earnings of £35,000-£40,000 with uncapped earning potential
